H2 nearly ready

Just waiting on DVLA to deliver a number, otherwise all good to go.

There are many companies on ebay able to make very good stickers like that one Den. I have had a few made over the years for my bikes.

Colette used to work for a label / sign making company and they made the label.

It is a self adhesive label material like they use for wrapping vehicles, very pleased with it.

Who needs a signature anyway......

The modern laser cut logos are lasting a long time outdoors. I always give them a coat of clearcoat so they will not peel when cleaning.

Nigel - in my experirence from my previous H2 al lot of what you hear about really bad fuel consumption is myth.

You can ride them pretty rapidly and still see nearly 30MPG, to get it down to the 17 mark you would have to be really wringing it's neck.

Guess I must try to ride it harder

Go for it ! I guess the journos would have been redlining the test bikes from every stop light.

I had a BMW 528i auto as a company car for a while in the late '80s. BMWs have this natty little fuel consumption meter at the bottom of the revcounter + mine had a digital "instantaneous consumption" readout in the console. Lowest instantaneous consumption I recall seeing was 3mpg ! Worst tank average was 17 mpg over an Xmas berak - all short journeys & cold starts.

To be honest I just enjoy the low down torque it produces for a 2 stroke, you can just amble along it at a sedate pace if you want.

On the other hand, give it big handfulls and up comes the front wheel when it hits the power band - really wakes you up when they do that !
