I rung my doctor a few weeks back , change of address and asked for a medecine review , this was the "lucky bag" the hospital gave me after a heart attack. I got a phone call last week from a nice doctor , asked her to read off the medications (6 tablets and 3 inhailers) , and explain what each tablet did , seems that several of them where there to remove side affects of others I politly but firmly said "stop" , I took them all from september to almost xmas , I was plaiged with kidneys/liver aching , face puffed up , mouth pains (ulsers) etc etc , I stopped taking them in december
I have backed down , I am going for a blood test , she knows I am not stupid and will get help if needed new medication = 1 x 75mg asprin to be taken daily , and 1 x 15mg lansopprazole (indigestion) to be taken if and when needed - I like chease
I actually feel better and healthier now than I did last year

When my wife was discharged from hospital they gave her a bag of goodies most of which they had never given to her when she was in there. Within a day of discharge she developed uncontrollable shaking. I called the doctor out, he diagnosed Parkinson’s. I disputed that and suggested it may be down to one particular tablet in this bundle. He said “well we can try stopping it if you like” to which I replied that I would. She never shaked again for the rest of her life and most of the other trash the hospital prescribed was soon discontinued as well. I have total lack of faith in Bedford hospital and the majority of nurses that “tend” to the elderly that cannot help themselves. Den

last september when I had a "glitch in the matrix" otherwise known as a heart attack , they gave me an asprin , took blood samples then again 4 hrs later , checks said there was a problem and I needed treatment ASAP , sorting then sending to another hospital to be given stents if needed , I was left on a trolly , with no medication food or water , at 10am the following morning I had a stroke. after quality treatment , I was sent to the heart ward the notes my doctor has , says I only had one heart attack and nothing else , that one attack must. have been for 14 hrs
a month or so later I was asked back to blackpool hospital , they were going to do a stress test , inject me to speed my heart up ,untill I broke??? , there were dire warnings what NOT to take before procedure , one big no no was beta blockers to slow your heart , supposed to be there on a wed morn ,I got phone call from my doctor tue evening telling me not to go , the hospital that was doing this treatment , also had me taking a tablet that was a beta blocker , that could have been fun , speeding my heart up , beta blocker kicks in and slows it , they inject more , BB kicks in , they inject more , BB stops working , my heart beat goes up to a million and I die
my doctor was not impressed that the doc that had ordered the procedure was the same as had issued BB for 12 mth

Problem is you don’t know what your getting into until they start, most cases will help, but if like mine with my wife, it doesn’t and they do nothing to help at all you can waste, like me, four weeks of you or your partners life you could have spent together. I’ll never forgive them for that. They wanted to put her in a care home, run by the NHS, for further assessment, I had to insist they return her to me at home where she passed away peacefully at 0510 in the morning a few weeks later.
