Interesting that someone in Government has finally worked out why small towns have so many mini marts,vape shops and barbers etc. They think they may be selling drugs and cigarettes and money laundering. Our small town now has over 20 of these shops in the main area and they have bought all the newsagent shops and they have become coffee bars. The coffee bars are a new source for laundering the cash.
So, 75 new police officers added for the whole UK to close them down so it might take awhile. So far, 2 have been shut down here with a closure notice and no trading allowed so the group move on and open another shop.
The shops have now had to upgrade their shop watchers whos sit in chairs at various locations in Town to spot the cars that come in to shut the shop down.
Cat and mouse game but it will slowly work.
