Heatmate silicone

I use this boiler silicone for exhaust joints and my tube had gone solid this week. The price of a new tube locally was over £12. Ouch. Then again, a piece of battered cod tonight cost £9.
Of course, cod will not seal an exhaust though

for the last 30 yrs , I to have used sealant on exaust pipes and silencers

however I to like cods , and find that I can buy chips as well , if I buy "clear bathroom sealant" from the £1 shop

this has same high temp rating , and is far more presentable in a bathroom

Bathroom silicone does work well with just a little burning.
Some chippies here are selling Pollack to help out those with less money. My favourite chippy will often give away some items if he is aware they are struggling. Now that man is well respected here and Iranian birth but lived here since a small child.
He always has the best quality cod so i dont go to any other shop now.
Of course, when touring UK, i hunt down a good chippy for evening meals.

bathroom clear silicone works well , and is available from £1 shop , I have not had any problems with "burning" as the temp range for even the cheapest , exceeds what is needed on a motor bike

there is simply no need to buy the one you have been using

The bathroom silicone bubbles a bit up by the exhaust port on the Triumph. Still seals but looks untidy. I have found bathroom silicone will work though

£14 quids fpr Cod and chips out of a pub car park van round my way.

Back to the pickled egg and crisps.

this lovely and just prepared potion of fish and chips I had in witby about 4 weeks ago , there were several "shitty" harry ramsden shops charging £25 upward , probably frozen potions as well

I got this from a slighty less tainted place , eat in or eat out £12 , the can of coke was £1.50
it sort of shows size of food portion ,
I am quite a fussy eater , I will leave burnt chips or fish if its bland or crap, I eat the full portion

If I paid for it I eat the lot, burnt or what ever, it'll be better than my cooking.

there was a chippy we used to go to , on a monday evenings whilst at the bike meet at lytham (blackpool)

alas the prices have now gone up , those pics are august 2023

Bathroom silicone works very well on 2 stroke pipes, used it on all the Triples I have had over the years.

Very rarely starts to leak once cured, I usually leave it 24 hours before firing anything up.

Who needs a signature anyway......

Interesting how a thread on Silicone and morph into a Fish and Chip thread - could only happen here.

Going price here is around £12 for fish and chips - there a couple of chippies you can rely on locally for consistent quality, others are very variable.

Who needs a signature anyway......

Don't matter how much salt and vinegar you put on silicone it won't make it taste any better.

Eat too much silicone and it jams your mouth up as it cures. Good for making a mold for dentures though.
Now then, how much are burgers at the bike jumbles now

never bought a burger at a bike show or nywhe2re else for that matter. But for those addicted to salmonella there is a food van in this part of the world called....The Filthy Rat.yes thats right.

They know how to cater for their customer base for sure.
