Storm

We have just had the mother of all thunderstorms, flashes of lightening about every 30 secs, torrential rain, high winds.

Still ongoing, gutters cant cope, and leaks have appeared in the conservatory where it has never leaked before.

At least it is a lot cooler, cant believe it is going to get 3 - 5 degrees hotter in the next few days.

As for the storm, not a mention on the forecasts......

Who needs a signature anyway......

I was watering the plants on the patio very dark inthe east came indoors and it bucketed down for a few minutes..complete wast of time

Lasted the best part of an hour here, torrential rain for about 15 minutes.

I wrecked my standard roses which were all flowering nicely.

At least it is nice and cool now, but 34 degrees forecast for tomorrow, and 36 for Wed and Thursday, that is going to be hell.

Who needs a signature anyway......

8pm and its still 25 degees in chanel islands , a nice breeze helps , 34 degrees tomorrow , no signs of thunderstorms , the rich people here banned thunderstorms

It did go dark here and a little rain that evaporated as soon as it touched the hot ground.
Had some bike polishing to do and chain oiling etc ready for the longish rides coming in July.
