OK I give in

Just back from taking the Speedmaster for an MOT.

20 miles each way. I did not enjoy the ride, too damned hot, absolutely horrible.

Drunk 2 litres of water during the MOT and have just taken another litre at home.

Please be cooler tomorrow.

Who needs a signature anyway......

Maz took the Skoda for its service there for three hours in the heat though the dealer did have air conditioning in the waiting room car past everything then they washed it but didn't leather it off so this morning spent an hour polishing it again .. be glad when the heat goes away fed up with it

Of course it did, advisory that the front pads are getting low so will be fitting a new set next week.

My MOT station is just half a mile away. Surprised the pads are worn Andy, mine on the R111 did 12,000 miles and still good but changed the discs to EBC so fitted new pads.
The discs had loose rivets which is common on the factory original. EBC are much better made

Mine has a little over 12,000 miles on it and one previous owner so perhaps he / she relied on the front brake a lot.

New set of Brembo pads on order - don't need any "high performance" or "race" compounds, just the bog standard ones.

The EBC discs and pads were excellent improvements to stop the 750lb bike faster. I had to replace the originals for the MOT pass.
