lots and lots of horse riders around here, I look out for them, often block oncoming crap drivers,would switch off my bike when it was a noisy one.
Fact that these horse are ridden by some lovely girls who always smile at me is nothing to do with it,honestly.
The often post comment on FB about how considerate motorcyclists are,especially when met on bridleways or on the plain.

By and large Horse riders around here are pretty good at acknowledging when you do something considerate for them.

Only ever had one snotty old bitch on a horse moan at me for not switching my bike engine off quick enough for her.

There's a stables on a lane on my way to Stanford Hall. They use the lane a short distance to get to the bridle path.
Occasionally I've seen the riding instructor with young learner riders, so have stopped and switch off & twice one or other of the horses has come over to say hello and have a stroke. First time it happened, I nearly had a stroke.
