Afternoon ride

What a pleasant ride this afternoon, down around Taunton and Bridgwater.

Temperature was just right, and no one tried to kill me.

Who needs a signature anyway......

I took a different kind of ride today, first to a farm market then to a brewery and outdoor restaurant, very pleasant ride on back roads ....

Kind of a nice complement to the olde bike hobby sometimes. We love our old British cars. Detroit never made anything like them.

I always wanted a Triumph TR4 IRS model but back in the 70s ,they were just out of my price range. Now i could buy several, i just cannot run one. Comfort would be a problem as i found with my Mercedes SLK supercharged car which was alright for about 100 miles

If you really want a roadster, you can get comfortable and supportive custom seats for them.

Although nothing will make them easier to get in and out of!

Our group had one guy in his 50s, one in his 60s, me in my 70s, five couples in their 80s, and one couple in their 90s.

One Jaguar, two MGBs, my MGC, one TR6, one TR250, one Triumph Spitfire, and one MGA.

There are a lot of MGAs around my area Lannis. recently, a large group of them came into Town here.
Possibly a superior car is the 150bhp Tr6 with the 6 cylinder engine. I cannot get out of them now as its just too low. hence i am going for a high up Volvo for Christmas present.
All old cars are nice to look at though

I had a MGB back in the 70's. Sold it to start racing so the money went towards my first race bike a Vic Camp Mach 1 Ducati and a Transit van bought from my employers at the time Decca Navigator. It sure was starting to rust so think it went at the right time.

The oldest rocker in town!
