Sorry to hear about the injuries you sustained while playing softball and I'm glad to hear you are now able to resume playing once again.
Because you need to keep yourself safe from any further injuries, an exception is being made for you in the Millennium Sunday Softball League, so that the following ASA rule will not apply to you.
Rule 8, Section 7,R --- The runner is out (slow pitch) when the runner fails to keep contact with the base to which they are entitled until a pitched ball is batted, touches the ground, or reaches home plate.
Effect-Section 7R: the ball is dead, "no pitch" is declared when applicable, and the runner is out.
Please print this post and take it with you to all your games in the league to show to both the umpire and the team you are playing that day that you have been excluded from the above referenced ASA rule.
