Why didn't they ask somebody associated with ASA about these "fees" before making that statement in the paper? There were some ASA people there that day that would have told the paper the exact policy that governs tournament insurance, registration, charity events, umpires, etc. I never say anything bad about anything or anybody.
A comment like that can make ASA look bad and in my mind, it did. And the (who was asked to retract it), could have, stating it was a simple honest mistake. But he chose not too.
Anthony and Terry both have attended the ASA banquet to accept these plaques. Jeez, We played Pool with Terry until they kicked us out of the bar a couple when the sun came up. Hell, some of the breaks we had, went right off the table into people walking by, LOL.- Steve
