2014 Millennium Sunday Fall Softball League is now organizing for the upcoming season.
I never thought I would need to write that headline to a post on the message board on July 2nd, but I did today and here's why.
There has never been more of an onslaught of new teams (8 teams and counting) wanting to play Millennium Sunday Fall Ball, this early, than this year.
The league already is the largest men's Fall slow pitch softball league in the ASA of PA and reached its maximum limit last year with 40 teams.
The new teams need to start their own organizing (i.e. uniforms, league fees, etc.) and would like to know if they will be accepted in the league this year, fairly soon.
Because of this all teams must email me (no phone calls) at millpres2000@rcn.com by Sunday, July 20th - that they have seen this post and are confirming they plan on participating this year in order to assure their place in the league.
Also, teams who have followed through with their email confirmation will have it noted next to their team name whether they are returning or not.
For the players on these teams, it may be a good idea to make sure your coach has seen this post on the message board.
Team name changes for the 2014 Fall season will be listed in parentheses in updated posts.
Note: The divisions will not be realigned for the 2014 season until just before the first league meeting in August.
Thanks.
