The 2014 ASA of PA Charity Challenge Championship which is played to promote Prostate Cancer Awareness and whose proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society is now accepting teams for its 7th Annual Tournament which will be played during the weekend of August 8-10.
Since its inception in 2008, the Charity Challenge Championship immediately became the biggest and best Men's Slow Pitch Charity Softball Tournament in Pennsylvania with twelve softball leagues participating last year.

2. The 2014 Charity Challenge logo for this years tournament is being designed now.
The new logo will be available for marketing the tournament through t-shirts, flyers, websites and social media.
The color of the t-shirts will be charcoal, which is a very popular color this year with both men and women.
Women's tank tops, that were in high demand last year, will once again be available.
Plus everyone who buys a t-shirt will also receive a Prostate Cancer Awareness wristband for free with your $10 donation.
Prostate Cancer Awareness wristbands will also be available for sale at all tournament sites.
3. The tournament committee has decided after hearing requests from teams who said they would rather have cash awards given to the champions of both the "A" and "B" Flights, in lieu of apparel.
The players from the two teams who advance to the championship games will receive Carolina Blue wristbands (which is the color for prostate cancer awareness) to be worn during the game, as a reminder of why the tournament is being played, much like of what is done on Father's Day in Major League Baseball.
