After many calls and texts back and forth between the team leaders and the league it has become official that V&J Collision has pulled out of the league. While both sides tried endlessly over the last 5 days to be able to make this work, in the end we were unable to work something out. It is unfortunate that this had to happen right at the start of the season.

Below is the original V&J Collision Roster. All players from this team are eligible to be picked up by other teams for league play. Please remember if the player is listed as out of state or above class E and you are at your max of three above E players you can not add them to your roster. Larry McFadden is appealing his classification and is able to be added to any roster and not count as an above E class player.

Teams in the A/B Division please note with this occurrence the league is discussing the remaining schedule for the year and playoff eligibility requirements for team players. In the 9 week schedule the loss of this team will currently leave about 7 of the 12 teams (not counting week 1 and 2 V&J opponents) in A/B Division 2 games less then originally planned.

We welcome all coaches of the A/B Division Teams to submit your suggestions via email to me for consideration.

Suggestions already received have been:

1. Condense the AB into one division instead of two and play everyone one time (this would mean the A/B Division would either have to play 4 games one weekend or add another weekend not currently in use.

2. Keep schedule as is, when a team was scheduled to play V&J they get a bye and all players from originally submitted roster earn two games towards eligibility plus team gets two wins.

3. The team who is supposed to have a bye instead gets added to an already set-up game between two teams and it becomes a mini round robin where each of the three teams plays two games. This would add one extra hour to your Sunday playing time instead of 2 like in option 1.

Again any suggestions from the team coaches for the A/B division are welcome. If you have any suggestions please email me by Wednesday.

Any changes based on a majority vote from the A/B Division Coaches we will try to get started with week three as it is to late to have anything by this weekend. This will also give us a little more time to prepare for the changes.
