The season is on us Fast and Furious, like 2 Chainz, Whiz Khalifa and their rap number.

And so it was in the Millennium Sunday Softball League with Casey's Crew, which used a variety of efforts to sweep Charlie Brown's Steakhouse, 14-13 and 13-7.
Ron "PopPop" Sapp blasted three hits, including a two-run homer and Glenn Stanners (three hits) slugged a three-run shot to spark the Crew in the first game.
Jeff Dugan Jr. went 4-for-4 in the getaway. Jeff Dugan Sr., Stanners, Terrance Heller, Jay Stafford and Chris Stafford smacked three hits each.

Tri-State Liquors 14-8, Quan Ta Productions-Slurricanes 13-7 >> Jim Butler and Brian Umile plated three each for Tri-State in the opener. Anthony Bodalotto and Larry Waterfield did the honors with three ribbies each in the getaway.

Maggie's Irish Pub I 14-4, Premier Orthopedics 11-26 >> In the lidlifter, Maggie's won behind T.J. Sabatino (4-for-5 with two doubles, two RBIs two runs) and Ted Canaglia (RBI, three hits).
Premier earned the split with Dan Shell and Dan Wildoner leading the offensive onslaught.
