Saturday started off good, but due to a heavy rain shower at 8pm games had to be pushed to Sunday early morning. Dolan's and the Longhorns went into Sunday still in the winners bracket (2-0 and 3-0 respectively).
All four teams unfortunately ended up in the losers bracket and had to play each other at some point to continue. Jack's eliminated Addicted Furnishings before falling to Fine Line out of District 11, and the Longhorns were eliminated by Dolan's in game 65 of the tournament.
Overall 72 games were played this weekend with Dolan's falling in the championship game (game # 72) to Play it Again Sports out of District 2. The only team that had Dolan's number this past weekend as both loses came to them.
Very proud of all four teams and how they competed this weekend. You represented both the District and your respective leagues very well.
Looking forward to watching our district teams compete in the D1/C state tournament in a couple of weeks.
Congrats again!
