The 2015 Millennium Sunday Fall Softball League team registration period that began two weeks ago for teams who participated in the league last year has now closed.

The final deadline to register was Saturday, August 8th and only one team did not meet the deadline and has been taken out of the league.

That being said - this post gives me the opportunity to explain the decision that was made earlier this year in the Millennium Sunday Summer League to exclude a team from the league after not meeting a set of deadlines.

That team failed to attend any of the three league meetings, was nearly impossible to contact and on top of that the coach had asked me to meet him on numerous occasions at different locations to make a deposit on his league fees and never showed up and waited until five days before the season was to begin to make a mere $200 deposit of league fees when the full amount was more than past due.

At that point the league captains and myself had enough and took a team (who had a sponsor and full league fees ready) off the waiting list to replace this team - returned their deposit and no longer had to deal with the run around the coach gives the league every year.

I will begin to take teams off the Millennium Sunday Fall waiting list and contact them in the coming days.

There may be up to five teams on the waiting list accepted into the league.

This years divisions will begin to be set-up after the final registration period ends with the teams on the waiting list.
