At the Hall of Fame Awards Banquet on Saturday night the Classic/Finley Modified softball team from District 6 will be inducted into the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) of Pennsylvania's Hall of Fame.
Classic/Finley was arguably the best modified softball team to ever play in the ASA of PA.

Also at the banquet the Kennett Area Park and Recreation Board will be presented with an appreciation award.
Accepting the award will be District 6 staff member and KAPRB chairman Kevin Garris and KAPRB director Mike Goudy.

And on Sunday morning during the ASA of PA General Council Session, longtime District 6 Penn-Del Over-50 Modified League commissioner, Jim Moore will be honored with the prestigious Degenstein Award which is presented by the Amateur Softball Association of Pennsylvania, to a person or a group of people for their dedication and support to the sport of softball in the state.
Moore will also have his name placed on a plaque on the Wall of Honor at the Hall of Fame in Sunbury.
