ASA Courtesy Runner Rule
Each team will be allowed to use one courtesy runner per inning. The courtesy runner can be anyone on the team roster, either in the game or on the bench.
If you are in the line-up and you are used as a courtesy runner and if your turn in the batting order comes up while you are on base then you will be declared out on the base you were occupying.
Note: If the above occurs with the courtesy runner and there are less than two outs the courtesy runner (and only the courtesy runner) will continue to take his turn in the batting order.
