2016 Millennium Sunday Softball League "A/B" Division Playoff Tiebreakers
All tiebreakers must be decided within a division first before settling ties between teams from different divisions.
In the American Division, Quan Ta Productions/Slurricanes finish ahead of Barnaby's of Ridley/Danese Softball by virtue of a head-to-head sweep.
In the National Division, Tri-State Liquors finish ahead of Bats Plus/Kelly's Corner by virtue of a head-to-head sweep.
In the National Division, Double Edge Sports Grille finishes ahead of Brick & Brew Brawlers by virtue of a head-to-head sweep.
The top four seeds go to the "A" playoffs. They are:
1. Upland A.C. (15-3)
2. Applegate Softball (12-6)
3. Miller's Ale House Heavy Hitters (11-7)
4. Tri-State Liquors (10-8)
The next eight seeds go to the "B" playoffs. They are:
1. Bats Plus/Kelly's Corner (10-8)
2. Quan Ta Productions/Slurricanes (9-9)
3. Barnaby's of Ridley/Danese Softball (9-9)
4. Stinger's Restaurant and Bar (8-10)
5. Double Edge Sports Grille (8-10)
6. Brick & Brew Brawlers (8-10)
7. Della Polla's Tavern/Gramlick Construction (4-14)
8. Mudsharks (4-14)
* As mentioned above, Quan Ta Productions/Slurricanes wins the tiebreaker over Barnaby's of Ridley/Danese Softball by virtue of a head-to-head sweep.
* Stinger's Restaurant and Bar win a tiebreaker over Double Edge Sports Grille in the third tiebreaker, which is record against "A" playoff teams. (They did not play head-to-head and they had an identical record against common opponents). Please note, that the Brick & Brew Brawlers were not included in this tiebreaker because they must finish behind Double Edge Sports Grille in their Division based on the head-to-head tiebreaker listed above.
* Della Polla's/Gramlick Construction finish ahead of the Mudsharks on the second tiebreaker, which is record against common opponents. The two teams played each other and split their two games, necessitating the second tiebreaker.
