Daily Times: Millennium Sunday Playoff Roundup - Classic Coachwork blasts way into final
Trey Neal blasted a three-run home run in the seventh inning, followed by dingers from Pat Dix, John Roberts and Chris Kloepfer as Classic Coachwork@McLaren/Rothman Institute took down the Burgundy Lounge Punishers 9-4 in Game 3 to clinch the series and advance to the Millennium Sunday E Division championship.
After falling 15-12 in Game 1, Classic Coachwork rebounded in Game 2 behind Neal's two three-run home runs and Todd Becker's two hits and RBI to win 7-5 and tie the series at 1-1. Steve Sakers picked up both wins on the mound for Classic Coachwork.

Marty Magee's Knights 12-12, Manoa Post 0-7 >> Mike Komorowski pitched a shutout, Christian Digalbo went 3-for-3 with a two-run homer and two runs scored, Ant Digalbo Jr. and Colin Digalbo both added a home runs each, and Joe Faragalli went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI in Game 2 for Marty Magee's.
Christian Digalbo carried the Knights in Game 3 going 3-for-3 with a double, two runs and an RBI while Andrew Tully added a double, triple, two runs and an RBI of his own as they advanced to play Classic Coachwork in the E Division championship series. No score or details were reported for Game 1.

Applegate Softball 13-3, Upland A.C. 10-13 >> Third baseman Kevin Brown was 2-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored while turning five double plays to be named series MVP and Norm Donkin went 3-for-3 with three RBIs to lead Upland A.C. to the A Division championship. Dan Lucas was 7-for-9 with six RBIs and Brian Leon chipped in two home runs, four RBIs and four runs scored on the day for Upland A.C. No score was reported for Game 3.

Quan Ta Productions/Slurricanes 14-8, Barnaby's of Ridley/Danese Softball 13-2 >> Anthony Magitti blasted a three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning and a few batters later Jimmy Jenkins hit the walk-off RBI single to propel the Slurricanes to a Game 1 victory.
Jenkins kept the momentum going by hitting a leadoff home run, Tyler Elko and Tommy Higgins each had a home run along with turning seven double plays in the infield as the Slurricanes completed the sweep and advanced to play Stringer's in the B Division championship series. Richard Cropper picked up both wins of the mound while also hitting a three-run shot in Game 2 to help his cause.

Penn Valley Assassins 13-18, R.P. McMurphy's Bar & Grille 12-9 >> Rob Manton hit for the cycle to go along while also driving in five runs, Bill Dougherty earned the win on the mound, and Ryan McBride went 2-for-3 including the walk off RBI to lift Penn Valley in Game 1. Manton continued his dominant day by hitting a grand slam and racking up seven RBIs in Game 2 as Penn Valley moved on to the C Division championship series. Mark Albertson was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and Shaun Donahue went 4-for-5 with four runs scored in Game 2.
