Daily Times: Millennium Sunday Playoff Roundup - Digalbos team to lift Magee's to title
The Millennium Sunday E Division championship series began with a flourish for Christian Digalbo — and only got better.
Digalbo's two-run walk-off home run in the 10th inning lifted Marty Magee's Knights over Classic Coachwork@McLaren/Rothman Institute, 12-11, in the opener. Digalbo came back to fashion a 4-for-4 performance, including three runs and three RBIs, in Game 3 to send the Knights to a 19-9 romp and the title.
Digalbo also doubled and drove in three runs in Game 1, while Pete Chambers (3 for 4) knocked in two and scored twice in support of winning pitcher Mike Labuski.
Classic Coachwork evened things up by taking Game 2, 11-6, behind a three-run blast by Trey Neal (2 for 3, two runs). Tim Ryan was 3 for 3 with two runs and Shawn Shephard went 2 for 2 and scored three times in the win. Collin Digalbo paced Magee's with a triple, a home run, two runs and two RBIs. Game 3 belonged to the Knights, with Labuski again registering the win thanks to a slew of offense. Along with Christian Digalbo's heroics at the plate, Collin Digalbo legged out a triple in going 3 for 4 and scored three runs while Chambers (2 for 3, four RBIs, two runs) and Dan Leicht (3 for 4, five RBIs, three runs) each went yard.

Pogue Mahone's Pub 5-13-16, Cocco's Pizzeria & Pub of Aston 10-12-10 >> After dropping the opener of the best-of-3 Division D championship series, Pogue Mahone's decided to make things interesting by winning Game 2 in dramatic fashion — Dave Bush tied it with a double before Michael Malkoun ended it with a walk-off single.
Game 3 belonged to the Irish, as the Gaelic-lovin' Tommy Nardelli belted a three-run home run and the sing-song combination of Ernie Manna-to-Tom Behmke-to-Billy Schailey turned a spectacular series-ending double play. Dave Yarnall was in the circle for both wins.
