Would like to send congrats to the following individuals for being inducted into the USA/ASA of PA Hall of Fame this past weekend, Steve Dimitry and Joe Organek. This is one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon anyone in the USA/ASA of PA organization.


Joe O. has been involved in softball in Delaware County as a player, coach, administrator and fundraiser since 1978. He is commissioner of the Millennium Sunday Softball League, which is about to begin its 20th season. Currently Joe O. is the District 6 Commissioner for the USA/ASA of PA.

Steve D., who has played in a number of Champs 'n' Charity Classics, the longtime fund-raising event for the American Cancer Society, has been a member of 10 state championship teams and five teams that have won national titles in his career, which began in 1977. Currently Steve is the co-commissioner of USA/ASA Slow Pitch Softball for the state of PA.

The bios above are just a snippet of what these two men have done for softball in both the Delaware and Montgomery County Areas during their time working with the USA/ASA Softball community.

Congrats to two well deserving men. It has been a pleasure working and playing for and with both men.
