FLASH: Here we go again - we all know the drill ... Millennium Sunday teams will once again need to check on their fields sometime today and make them playable for tomorrow's games.
This goes for both the home and away teams on the schedule.
If the field your team is scheduled to play on is unplayable, because of lack of effort to get it ready for tomorrow - it could force your entire division games not to be played.
So please make every effort to check your fields today and bring any field maintenance equipment with you i.e. rakes, shovels and brooms (to push the standing water off).
It's very important to get any standing water off the field by the end of the day.
If teams do not cooperate and help with getting their fields ready - there's the chance of a repeat of week #1 where only the "A/B" Division games where played.
Also, please report to me sometime today (phone or email) the status of your field conditions.
Here a list of the fields that are being used tomorrow that were not able to be made playable a few weeks ago when we had the same amount of rain on a Friday.
1. 69th Street Main
2. Furey I
3. Hoffman Park
4. Incinerator Field
5. Prospect Park
6. Upland Main Street
If your team plays on one of these fields tomorrow - I will definitely need reports sometime today on the field conditions.
