Daily Times: Millennium Sunday Roundup - McGillicuddy's gets needed relief in doubleheader sweep
Saves are a rarity in slow pitch softball, which is what made the second game of J.D. McGillicuddy's Tinicum twin killing of Jimmy Mac's Wolfpack in the Millennium Softball League Sunday so interesting.
After 'Cuddy's cruised to a 16-3 victory in the first game, Brian Van Wyk had to come out of the bullpen and pitch the final two innings to preserve a 16-14 triumph that completed the sweep. Chuck Reese went 4-for-4 and played stellar defense at shortstop.
In the opener, Cory Gould and Erek Bierlein combined for six hits and nine RBIs.

NOTE >> The Knuckleheads report was left out because they forgot two of the more important details in reporting scores: An opponent and the scores of the game. Too bad, a bunch of guys had a really good day.
