There seems to have been some confusion with one of the teams that is participating in this Sunday's playoffs about the playoff eligibility of one of their players.
There were conflicting lineups turned in after last Sunday's games by the teams involved that have since been rectified - with one lineup giving a player the playoff eligibility he needed even though he never played and who has since been ruled ineligible for the playoffs.
This type of an adroit maneuver made in an effort to give a player playoff eligibility will not be tolerated in the league and going forward will have penalties imposed to the team with the infraction of not following the league's playoff eligibility policy.
So with the playoffs approaching for the remainder of the league, I am asking teams not to be tempted to do the wrong thing and only submit playoff rosters for players who are actually eligible to participate.
