Daily Times: Millennium Sunday Roundup - Red-hot Bush powers Pogue Mahone's to sweep
If the opposition was feeling the heat, it was due to Dave Bush's bat and not the scorching sun. Bush crushed a three-run home run to power Pogue Mahone's Pub to a 10-2 victory over Cocco's Pizzeria & Pub of Aston in Game Two of the first round of the Millennium Sunday B Division playoffs.
In Game One, Bush went 4-for-4 and fell a home run short of the cycle in leading Pogue Mahone's to a 16-13 win. Mike Malkoun added three hits and two runs scored while Bob Doherty went 4-for-4 with a pair of runs.
