Daily Times: Millennium Sunday Roundup - Stanley Kup Inn secures #1 seed in E Division playoffs

Stanley Kup Inn swept Clifton Mayhem to secure the No. 1 seed in the E Division playoffs.

With Matt Moriarty on the bump, Stanley Kup prevailed by scores of 12-9 and 17-8 over Clifton Mayhem.

Moriarty wasn't the only thing on fire for The Kup as Matt Mullen went 7-for-9 at the plate with five runs scored.

Pogue Mahone's 12-18 Gramlick Construction 3-13 >> In the B Division semis, fifth-seeded Pogue Mahone's eliminated Gramlick, the top seed.

Dave Bush went 3-for-4 with 2 home runs, Nick Hall 3-for-4 with one dinger as Pogue Mahone's Pub triumphed in the first game.

Jason Ebersole made it back-to-back-to-back homers. Mike Malkoun was 3-for-4 with a double and pitcher Dave Yarnall earned the first of two decisions.

Bush went 4-for-4 with a dinger and a double in the second game. Tom Behmke (4-for-4) belted a triple, Ernie Manna (3-for-4) a home run.
