You guys had a great year. You won pretty much everything from both leagues to a bunch of local tournaments and even a state championship and finished ninth at Nationals. That's an incredible season as far as I'm concerned.

As much as we wanted to beat you guys (and were two outs away from pulling off the sweep) you guys hit like a championship team in the seventh inning of Game 2 to stage a great comeback and then kept it going in Game 3 to win the series.

It sucks to lose but if there's a silver lining for us that we can take from it, it's that we forced the best USA softball team in the state to play it's best ball just to beat us.

You have an excellent team top to bottom. It was a well-earned championship to cap off a great season.

Congrats to you, Frank and Steven Smith, Angelo, Harris, Dolga, Kyle, Magitti, Broadbelt, Lanni, Tyler, Steve Michaels, Mike Ascenzi and even the injured Jimmy Jenkins for a great win.

Hope to see you guys on the field again somewhere sometime in 2018.
