The USA Softball of PA District 6 welcomes Rich Malascalza and Donald Kirby to our staff today as Delaware County Deputy Commissioners.

Richie Mal is the league commissioner of the Marcus Hook Slow Pitch League, Marcus Hook Sunday Softball League and the Marcus Hook Coed Softball League for both the Summer and Fall seasons.

He is also the tournament director/organizer of the Champs n Charity Challenge that is played each year at Mickey Vernon Park in Marcus Hook (see photo below) and whose proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.

Donald Kirby has been the umpire assigner for all the Marcus Hook Softball Leagues over the last ten years and will be bringing his umpires over to the newly chartered USA Softball of PA - Marcus Hook Softball Umpire Association.

Best of luck to both Richie and Donald as they join the staff of District 6.
