Daily Times: Millennium Sunday Roundup - Consistent Stephen's doubles up Pogue Mahone's
If nothing else, the guys from Stephen's on State in the Millennium Sunday Softball League are consistent. They liked beating Pogue Mahone's Pub 16-6 in the first game so much that they won Game 2 by the same score.
Dave Pizzicz (4-for-4, double, two RBIs), Anthony SanFilippo Jr. (two hits, four RBIs) and Mark Nevins (three hits) wielded the big bats in Game 1. Dan Ryan (3-for-4, triple, dinger, four RBIs) and Bill Woomer (3-for-3, double, homer, four RBIs) did most of the damage in the afterpiece.

J.D. McGillicuddy's Brookline 16-17, Marty Magee's Knights 11-7 >> Frankie Magee had a good day, winning both games and going 3-for-4 in the nightcap. Mike Malazzo also was solid in Game 2, going 4-for-4.
