Congratulations to MWO from the Marcus Hook Weeknight Softball League who won the 2018 USA Softball of PA Class "D2" District 6 Championship in Kennett Square yesterday.

The tournament that was shortened by rain became official after 50% of the games were played and with every team playing at least two games.

MWO was the only team undefeated and waiting to play in the Winner's Bracket Final when the rains came.

As the District 6 Champion, the team received a paid berth to the USA Softball of PA Class "D2" State Championship - July 14-15 in Drifton.

Good luck to MWO and all the teams who played in the tournament who are now qualified to participate in the Class "D2" State Finals.
