Congratulations to MRC/Showwithjoe.com from District 6 and the Marcus Hook Sunday Softball League who just a few hours ago won the 2018 USA Softball of PA Men's Slow Pitch Class "D1" State Championship in Drifton.

The team had to double-dip previously undefeated N.H. Legion (District 2) to win the championship.

MRC/Showwithjoe.com won the first game by the score of 20-11 and then clinched the title in the second game with a 19-6 victory - finishing the tournament with a 8-1 record.

For coming in 1st place the team won $936.00 in prize money.

There will be more game details to follow after the team returns home with what is sure to be a celebratory trip from Drifton after winning a state championship - in what are considered to be the most prestigious softball tournaments in Pennsylvania.

The MRC/Showwithjoe.com state championship marks the 3rd consecutive year that a team from District 6 can claim that honor - with all three teams coming from Sunday leagues.
