Daily Times: Millennium Sunday Roundup: Maddux makes it a good Knight for Marty Magee's
Anthony Maddux's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth inning gave Marty Magee's Knights a 13-12 victory and a doubleheader sweep of Rothman Institute in Millennium Sunday Softball League action.
Jim Calabrese scored the winning run and finished 3-for-4 with a homer and a triple in Game 2.
Anthony DiGalbo's three-run dinger put the Knights ahead by a run in the sixth inning. Dan Leicht went a perfect 4-for-4.
Marty Magee's smacked around Rothman in the opener, cruising to an 18-4 win. Collin DiGalbo led the way at the plate. The Kutztown University quarterback and Bonner & Prendergast legend was a home run shy of the cycle. Anthony Astolf added a pair of doubles and RBIs.

Stephen's on State 15-12, Precision Chimney & Masonry/Printz Beverage 8-15>> In Game 1, Anthony SanFilippo Jr., who is far more talented than his father, crushed a two-out, two-run double to open the flood gates on an eight-run first inning.
Jason Aikens homered and drove in four runs, while Nick Horan finished 3-for-4 with three ribbies for Stephen's.
Cody DiAmicis (3-for-3) and Chuck Stewart (2-for-3) homered for PC& M in Game 2. Brian Kurchlik was 3-for-3. Steve Michaels made a spectacular catch in the seventh inning with two outs and the bases loaded to preserve the victory.

Hunt's HH 25-15, Cocco's Pizzeria & Pub of Aston 15-0 >> After winning the USA Softball Pennsylvania District 6 tournament Saturday, the Hitters were back in action early Sunday and continued to assault opposing pitchers.
Mike Ianieri went 6-for-8 with five two-baggers, Matt Albertson was 6-for-7 with two dingers, and Mike Bucella racked up three doubles and two singles.

The Stretch 16-13, DiGravio Plumbing/Barnaby's of Aston 5-14>> Dave DiGravio walked Game 2 off with a double. Adam Phanthavong collected four hits and the win from the circle. Steve "The Butcher" Deavor carved up opposing pitching all game long.
Devin Mossor produced a hit in each of his 10 at-bats for The Stretch. Greg Hammer added five knocks.

Galle Electric Shockers 32-14, Marty Magee's Weekend Warriors 17-4 >> Brad Yori gave the Shockers a jolt in Game 1, going 6-for-6 with three homers and 12 ribbies. Todd Abbott and Scott Abdo each went yard twice.
In the second game, 17-year-old Andrew Manton had a bunch of hits and John Galle smashed a pair of homers. Phil England also parked one, and Rob Manton was the winning pitcher.
