Daily Times: Millennium Sunday Playoff Roundup

Collin DiGalbo did the damage in the opener and Danny Leight and Anthony Astolf paced the offense in the nightcap as Marty Magee's Knights swept Opdenaker Trash Removal, 19-16 and 12-4, to reach the Millennium Sunday D Division finals.

DiGalbo homered and scored six times. Leight and Astolf both went yard in the afterpiece to make a winner of Mike Labuski.

Galle Electric Shockers 5-10-13, Ram's Head Tavern 13-8-0 >> Rob Manton and winning pitcher Billy Dougherty went 3-for-3 in Games 2 & 3 to send Galle into the B Division finals. Dougherty tossed a gem in the third game for his second win of the day, while Phil England had two hits in Game 2.

Milmont Republican Club 19-16, Casey's Ridley Park 5-3 >> Billy Myers slugged a grand slam and drove in seven runs while going 4-for-4 in the opener. Anthony Stango (3-for-3) and Zach Williams (two dingers) pitched in with four RBIs each.

Joe Callahan (two homers, five RBIs), Matt Bayes (4-for-4, all doubles) and Bobby Lucchesi (3-for-4, HR, four RBIs) completed the sweep to send MRC in the E Division finals.
