In the C Division championship:
In a game report mysteriously delayed by a week, Quality Roofing Supply got a new lucky number in 17 … as in a pair of 17-15 wins over Upland A.C. to win the division title.
Matt Shaw belted two homers in the opener, and Don Ott went 4-for-5 with four runs scored.
Chaz Nelson and Kyle Gelsinger each went 3-for-4 in the nightcap, with Tom "Taco" Schultz saving the game with a stellar play at shortstop for the final out with the bases loaded in the seventh.
