Thanks Joe. As coach of Stephen's on State, I certainly appreciate the well wishes. We'll do our best to make the Millennium League proud.

Now...

Switching hats, as commissioner of District 6 in Delaware County, I want to also wish good luck to three other teams that are coming out of our County who will also be at States.

They may no longer be members of the Millennium League, but a lot of these guys have been playing softball in Delco for a long time and are the lifeblood of our sport when it comes to the most competitive levels we have in Delco.

As such, I want to send my best wishes and good luck to Hunt's Heavy Hitters, Johnny B's and Galle Electric Shockers, all of whom are coming out of the Marcus Hook League.

Here's hoping that come Sunday those three teams, plus my squad and the three Chester County teams take places 1-through-7 in the state.

It's great to be able to be playing softball again and it'll be a pleasure to share the experience with so many friendly rivals this weekend, including three members of the District 6 Softball staff here in Delaware County.
