Daily Times: Millennium Sunday Roundup - Beacon Roofing reaches Millennium B summit

The guys from Beacon Roofing are used to climbing high.

Last season, Beacon Roofing won the Millennium Sunday Softball League C Division Title. Sunday, they reached the B Division summit.

Larry Waterfield, Matt Shaw, Kyle Gelsinger and Ryan Holmes led the way as Beacon Roofing swept Brick & Brew, 13-9 and 15-5 in five innings to claim the B Division crown.

Waterfield went 3-for-4 and scored three times, while Shaw slugged a homer and drove in three runs while going 3-for-4 in the opener.

Gelsinger's double in the bottom of the fifth inning scored Don Ott from first base to give Beacon a walk-off, 10-run-rule win in Game 2.

Holmes went 3-for-3 with a double.
