The 2nd league meeting of Millennium Sunday Softball League has been scheduled for March 7th @ 1:00 p.m. - via conference call.
Teams will be notified by email with the Dial-in Number and Access Code for the conference call.
Please confirm you have received this email by emailing me only at millpres2000@verizon.net
As the host of the conference call I am notified immediately of the name and phone number of who is joining in - which makes it easier to take team attendance.
I continue to feel that a league conference call is the way to go as opposed to putting people in jeopardy by having the meeting indoors.
♦
This year will mark the 24th season the Millennium Sunday Softball League as it continues to be one of the largest and oldest men's softball league in the state of Pennsylvania.
As I mentioned on the 1st conference call special events are in the works when the league celebrates its "25th Anniversary" in 2022.
♦
The league will not be accepting any additional teams as of Monday, March 1st.
*** Only teams who participated in this years Millennium Sunday Spring/Summer League or the 6 teams from last year who had various reasons why they couldn't play this year will be initially invited to play Millennium Fall Ball. ***
♦
All teams should due their best to be part of the conference call especially with preparations for "Opening Day" continuing to be planned for Sunday, March 28th.
The 2021 league bylaws will be finalized and voted on at this meeting.
The procedures for turning in team lineups will be discussed.
The 1st draft of the proposed divisions will be announced.
♦
NOTE: Now is the time for teams to continue to contact their sponsor to prepare for this years league fees.
Teams < MUST > have a minimal deposit of $200 towards their league fees either before or soon after the 2nd league meeting.
Already teams have made arrangements with me and Paid-in-Full their league fees.
This year because of the pandemic I will only accept cash in denominations of $50 or $100 - checks/money orders or teams may use PayPal.
