I have sad news to report with the recent passing of Jim Egan, the longtime District 6 deputy commissioner and umpire assigner for both adult and youth leagues for more than forty years.

Jim was a friend and someone I could go to for advice whenever I needed.

He will be missed by all of us and his love of softball and everything he gave back to the game will always be remembered.

Please keep Jim and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
