Class-E is still E.
Class-D2 becomes Class-D
Class-D1 becomes Class-Open
Now saying this, There are D1 Players listed as D, D2 players listed as E, E players listed as D2, and D1 players listed as Open. And for all I know D2 players listed as Open.
What I am getting at is that the person in charge is working very hard to make this accurate as he updates it. BUT, these classifications are for Advanced PLay only (USA of PA States, etc).
Leagues and their respective "Classification Committee" still reserves the right to classify players as they see fit for their league.
I know this sounds like a big mess, but the decision to just go back to Class-D and Class-E has caused some headaches. So just abide by Joe and his committee to decide. I know they will be much more forgiving than this goofy staate is.
If you see your state classification and think it is wrong, please contact your District Commissioner or Player Rep and asked them to put in an appeal for you via email. Nothing elaborate, just one of them explaining why the players should be X and not Y.
Sorry for long post, wish you guys all the best,
Sincerely,
