Paul Tillett the coach of Busty's Tavern wanted it clarified that his pitcher, Darnell Jenkins, was not ejected on Sunday for arguing balls and strikes and didn't want his team used as an example.

I never mentioned any team or player in the post - that is not my style.

But since Tillett wanted to clear the air, as he put it ... I will.

This is coming directly from the umpire who worked Busty's doubleheader and called me after the games were over to report the ejection.

The umpire reported that Jenkins continued to disagree with the strike zone throughout the game and with two outs in the seventh inning threw the softball against the fence and was ejected.

Tillett should have notified me of the ejection, but did not - yet calls me too many times with what he feels are league issues.

The ejected player, Darnell Jenkins will now serve a one game suspension in Game #1 of this Sunday's Doubleheader vs. J.D. McGillicuddy's Islanders.
