The 2026 Millennium Sunday Softball League has now started the process of organizing for the upcoming Fall season.
The league can only accept a maximum of 28 teams and there is already a waiting list.
But that could change depending on field availability which could make it necessary to reduce the league to 24 teams.
There will be new criteria put in place to help with making a decision on what teams will be accepted into the league.
Teams who played in the Millennium Sunday Softball League Spring/Summer season this year and teams who played last year in the Fall season must register by email only at millpres2000@verizon.net and please include any new contact information i.e. phone number, email and/or mailing address - including any sponsor name change for your team.
Teams MUST register (no exceptions) by Sunday, July 26th so I can start gauging how many teams are coming back and how the divisions may be set up.
NOTE: Registration does not guarantee your team will be accepted in the league, with other factors such as teams not following the leagues rules and regulations, umpire issues and team conduct that is not accepted in the league being used as a way reduce the size of the league.
The registration period is not the time to petition for what division your team may want to play in - that will come at a later time.
It is the time for teams to begin to contact their sponsor to prepare for this years league fees.
The 1st league meeting will be scheduled via conference call on Thursday, August 6th at 7:00 p.m.
Teams need to have a minimal deposit of $200 towards their league fees at the 2nd league meeting @ J.T. Brewski's Pub or they will not be accepted into the league.
League fees can be paid in cash which will only be accepted in denominations of $50 or $100 - checks/money orders (made payable to the Millennium Sunday Softball League) or teams may use PayPal.
The league will open its 29th season the week after Labor Day on Sunday, September 13th.
