CWF Mid-Atlantic returns to the Carolina Sports Arena in Burlington, NC this Saturday, June 10th, with a 7:30pm belltime. This is a full card of great action all taped for television! All bouts are sanctioned by the AWA, the American Wrestling Association. The Summer Action Series kicks off this Saturday night with a "can't miss" card of action! After months of being tormented by the "New Dynasty," Ric Converse surprised the pretenders and delighted the fans when he announced there was only one way to take on this fake Dynasty, and that was reassembling the real Dynasty! The Dynasty dominated the title scene with Converse as the heavyweight champion and Brad Attitude & Brad Rainz controlling the tag team titles. As the Dynasty seemed to be at its peak, Trent Wylde wanting to become a member, actually brought about its demise. After splitting up the group through manipulation and getting The Brads to leave the territory, the diabolical plan finally showed his true intentions earlier this year as Wylde formed the New Dynasty. This new faction was composed of Converse's friends, but with a deep burning jealousy, and one goal in mind, to destroy Converse and his quest to become the AWA World Heavyweight Champion. While Ric Converse has discovered over the past months that he can't trust anyone, as he saw friend after friend stab him in the back. Will this time be any different? Or will the return of The Brads be the trump card to rid the Mid-Atlantic of the fake Dynasty? However the biggest question of all is will Ric Converse actually be able to produce Brad Attitude and Brad Rainz on Saturday night. The devious Trent Wylde phoned in for comments to be included this week stating, "Do you really think we're scared of The Brads? I'm the one that got them to leave town. I'm the one that has orchestrated this whole mess! Ric Converse thinks he runs the city but it's Trent Wylde that is pulling his strings." Wylde continued, "This Saturday night when Brad Atttidue and Brad Rainz don't show up, turning their back on Ric Converse forever, they will finally give me my revenge I've plotted for so many months. You see it will then be three-on-one, the real Dynasty of Joey Silvia, 'Simply' Steve Greene, and myself against Converse. And we will utterly destroy him in front of all his adoring fans. And at the same time we will crush his dream of winning the AWA World Heavyweight Title. Ric Converse, you'll never make it to Indianapolis on Wednesday. NEVER!" The other half of the double main event, is a huge title bout, as "Krazy K" Kirby Mack defends his AWA World Light Heavyweight Championship against Cham Pain. This is a dream match for those that know about the roots of these two competitors. Both began their careers in the famous OMEGA promotion that produced so many top wrestlers from North Carolina, including Matt & Jeff Hardy and Gregory Helms. Now these two OMEGA alumni will lock horns over the light heavyweight world crown! Cham Pain, along with his personal assistant Ashley Walker, scored a recent pinfall victory over Kirby Mack in a six-man bout to vault himself into title contention. Any win over a champion in non-title competition is the quickest way to earn a future title bout. That along with the vast credentials of Cham Pain (ECW veteran as well as a frequent star on the red carpet in Hollywood), were sure to land him in the spotlight at the Carolina Sports Arena. Cham Pain is so certain of his impending victory, that he already celebrated his win at the last TV Taping, complete with champaign! To complete his celebration though, Cham Pain still has to do what no one has been able to do for nearly a year... and that is defeat Krazy K for that gold belt. Since winning the title by defeating Shannon Moore in the tournament finals, Mack has gone on to defend the title throughout the American Wrestling Association territories. He's also slated to make some international defenses in Japan and the UK later this year should should he prevail. Nothing could make Cham Pain happier than to capture that title and the high profile defenses that he would inheirit as the new champion. Cham Pain's personal assistant, Ashley Walker, informed us that the "new champion" was too busy to give us any comments. However Walker did say that they would be immediately flying to Hollywood after the formality of winning the title was taken care of this Saturday night and celebrating with the biggest star in wrestling turned movie star. "Cham Pain is going to do what Krazy K could never do. And that is take the AWA World Light Heavyweight Title on the red carpet in Hollywood. He's got friends in high places, you know? Every tabloid and every Hollywood reporter TV show will have pictures of Cham Pain as the new champion after next week with 'perfect 10' starlets hanging off his arms," commented Walker. Plus we hope to have an update on everyone's favorite wrestler, Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride. The Boogie Man suffered an injury at the hands of Soloman Spades which cost McBride the AWA Mid-Atlantic Television Title. After weeks of terrorizing videos, Spades made his climatic return by helping Michael McAllister, one of the most despised wrestlers on the roster, win the belt from The Boogie Man. McBride was taken to the hospital and according to his friend Tank Lawson, since being released has spent most of his time alone and depressed, at home. Tank was taking a video camera with him to find out just what McBride is doing and plans to show us this Saturday night. In good news for the fans, Cornelius J. Lumpkin III has notified us that he will not be in Burlington this Saturday night. Lumpkin's secretary faxed us a letter stating that the president of LMG Inc. was traveling to Abu Dhabi for a meeting with his investors that will have a major impact on the future of CWF Mid-Atlantic. The fax did say that LMG Inc. would have a presence at this Saturday's event, but gave no other details. All this and so much more including the AWA Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions Garry "Madd Trucker" Stevens & "A Very Handsome Man" Mitch Connor, Otto Schwanz, Xsiris, TJ Mack, Roy Wilkins, Brandon Day, The Street Sweepers, Lumpkin Management Group Inc. representatives, and more! Plus the 3rd Annual Johnny Weaver Cup Tournament action continues! Link: www.indyinsiders.com www.IndyInsiders.Com
