The fans just can't get enough of the "Boogie Woogie Man" Rob McBride. He recently appeared on the local CBS affiliate, WFMY-TV2's "Good Morning Show" and literally stole the show. Hosts Rosemary Plybon & Jake Rickerts could barely continue the news after doing a live in-studio interview with McBride. This Saturday night though, the Boogie Man might want to rethink his good-time ways, as he makes three months of title defenses in one night. McBride is putting up his AWA Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship on the line in a Four Corners Match. The top managers in the Mid-Atlantic territory have petitioned for their representatives to receive a title shot at McBride and Commissioner Cross decided to let the champion pick his opponent. McBride opted to pick them all! Now he will have to face three opponents in one match, and they all have devious managers in their corner! "You people in Burlington make me sick!" shouted manager Ty Dillinger. He continued, "This Saturday night, like it or not, Ty Dillinger is walking into the Carolina Sports Arena with 'Mr. Elite' Jake Manning and we're walking out with that Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title. Forget about the Boogie Woogie Man, forget about Ric Converse, forget about Commissioner Cross, I'm gonna be running this joint from here on out!" President of Fatback Enterprises, manager Brad Stutts have his own viewpoint. "The more things change, the more they stay the same. Ric Converse was the Mid-Atlantic golden boy, now it's Rob McBride. When are these idiot fans ever going to realize that most talented wrestlers work for Fatback? I'll tell you when, this Saturday night when WE take the Mid-Atlantic Title," Stutts responded. The Lumpkin Management Group, Inc., headed by Sheik Cornelius J. Lumpkin III, refused to take our phone calls but did have his press agent fax a prepared statement to the CWF Mid-Atlantic officies. It stated, "The investors in LMG Inc. are upset with the recent downturn in gas prices. I plan on cheering them up this weekend by having one of the many members of my Arab Army dethrone Rob McBride and deliver the title belt to the corporate offices in the top floor of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority Tower." With the odds stacked against the Boogie Woogie Man, Commissioner Cross made an additional stipulation to help even it up. McBride will have his tag team partner Tank Lawson in his corner as well! Also scheduled for this Saturday night is a special interview with newly crowned 2006 Johnny Weaver Cup winner, Gemini Kid. Runner-up Jesse Ortega has demanded to face-off with Gemini to get some answers regarding the controversial conclusion in the Weaver Cup Finals that alledgedly saw Gemini Kid use the ropes to force a tap-out of Ortega. Ortega has to be physically restrained by his new tag team partner, the Kamakazi Kid, during the trophy ceremony. Many expect this confrontation to explode in the ring as Ortega is known for his "less talk, more action" attitude. All this and so much more featuring all your favorites including: AWA Mid-Atlantic Television Champion Brass Munkey, Xsiris, Cham Pain, "Rock 'n' Roll" Matty Dee, "Simply" Steve Greene, Solomon Spades, Michael McAllister, Marcellus King, The Street Sweepers, and many more! Don't you dare miss it!!! Link: www.indyinsiders.com www.IndyInsiders.Com
