+++Fatback Enterprises' "Dangerous E" Corey Edsel, a former Weaver Cup Champion, announced that he is being forced to step away from the ring for "probably the whole summer" due to continuing issues with a herniated disk he suffered at the hands of Aftermath's Marcellus "Mid Atlantic" King. He stated that he had been wrestling in pain since the injury and it was beginning to worsen because he had refused to rest his body, stating that he'd had issues with shooting pains in his legs and back. Manager Brad Stutts accompanied his man to the ring, leaving the ring after Edsel's explanation of his upcoming absence in an unusually somber mood without adding his own comments about the situation.

+++Aftermath's William L. Cross hit the ring with PWI Ultra-J Crown Champion Xsiris & one-half of the CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions Jaxon Dane, to try to squash rumors that have been surfacing on the internet suggesting their is a rift between former five-time heavyweight champ "the 1st" Ric Converse and the rest of the Aftermath. Ordering the ringside video team to cease taping, Cross blasted the "unknown" fans that had been contacting Converse before climbing out of the ring and confronting ringside cameraman Steve Zeban from CWF FanCam, taking his camera away from him and ripping out the tape, and destroying it before asking for the opponents his team was originally scheduled to face in six-man action. Cross stated that he'd given the other half of the tag champions, Marcellus "Mid Atlantic" King, the night off so he could "chill and reconnect" with Converse, due to his "lack of respect" for their opponents. After an epic battle of over fifteen minutes, the youthful team of Matt Smith, Chase Dakota & Chiva Kid w/Miss Chasity upset the Aftermath with a major pinfall victory.
+++After an explanation of the physical problems that had forced "Madd Trucker" Garry Stevens to step aside as CWF Commissioner (and his ring career earlier), and the explanation that due to family circumstances surrounding Assistant Commissioner Cornelius J. Lumpkin III, that a new Commissioner would be introduced to take the reigns of CWF Mid Atlantic immediately. Lumpkin will remain in his role of Assistant Commissioner, but before the announcement could be made, Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride stumbled out onto the stage and asked the fans how they'd like HIM as the new CWF Commissioner. Taking it into the ring, McBride announced that he was not ready to be honored with such a job because the rules stipulate that an active competitor can NOT be Commissioner and that he had a lot yet to accomplish in his ring career. Manager Brad Stutts made his way to the ring and announced that HE had nominated someone for the job of Commissioner and was sure his man had been chosen. McBride argued that HE had nominated someone and was certain his nomination had been chosen. Going back and forth, the new Commissioner finally made his way into the Mid Atlantic Sportatorium to a roar from the fans. Former Weaver Cup Champion "Handsome" Mitch Connor stepped through the curtains and made his way to the ring to accept the position and to try to make peace between Stutts and McBride.
+++Kamakazi Kid put an end to the Wildcard Playoff Match by pinfall for his team, awarding him the choice of challenger for the scheduled May 15th Mid Atlantic Title defense at Burlington NC's Mid Atlantic Sportatorium. Kazi did the unthinkable, announcing to Commissioner Connor and the fans that he wanted to face Lee Valiant for the title. And Brass Munkey, as well as Joey Silvia, Steve Greene & Ty Dillinger. Certain that the champion had his heart set on the bout, Connor made it official that the title defense will be a Six Way Battle for the Gold with the winner of the bout becoming the CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Champion.
