*** Mid-Atlantic Hwt. Champ Xsiris vs. Jason Miller!
*** Ric Converse vs. Arik Royal for the 1st time ever!
*** All Stars vs. Bombers for Tag Team Title!
*** Special guest James J. Dillon plus more!
CWF Mid-Atlantic is incredibly proud to present the 8th annual Johnny Weaver Memorial Cup Tournament Finals! The tournament has taken place all summer long and we are down to the elite Final Four. The winners of two semi-final round matches come back in the night's main event to battle it out for the Weaver Cup trophy.
This year we are extremely honored to have the legendary manager of the Four Horsemen and former WWE and WCW executive JAMES J. DILLON as our special guest for the event! Mr. Dillon worked closely with Johnny Weaver for many years and will be speaking to the live crowd about Weaver's impact on Mid-Atlantic wrestling as well as posing for photos and signing copies of his critically acclaimed autobiography "Wrestlers are Like Seagulls..."
Plus seven big bouts in all!
Semi-Finals of the 2011 Weaver Cup
Mid Atlantic Champion XSIRIS w/ William Cross VS. RGL Champion JASON MILLER
Miller has had one of the best rookie years of anyone in CWF history and even making it to the elite final four is a heck of an accomplishment. But if he can knock off the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion en route to the finals and possibly win the tournament, he's sure to cement himself as the top star of CWF's rising generation. These two came to blows in a six man tag-team bout two weeks ago that saw Miller pick up the win for his team but he still has a tough road ahead as the tournament enters its home stretch. Xsiris has looked as good as ever since capturing the championship from Lee Valiant at "Absolute Justice" and would seemingly have to be considered the favorite here but anything can happen in the Weaver Cup tournament and we have seen major upsets before! The stage is set for an all our war as both men try to make it to the finals!
Semi-Finals of the 2011 Weaver Cup - 1st time ever match up!
RIC CONVERSE w/ William Cross VS. ARIK ROYAL
After both men defeated their arch-rivals at "Rivalries Renewed" these two CWF mainstays now are on a collision course and only one will make it to the final round. Converse is the only former tournament winner in this year's final four and aims to become the first ever two-time tournament winner. Royal has never looked better after cutting weight all spring and summer long with the goal of winning this tournament in mind. Royal has gone so far as to call this year's tournament his own personal redemption but he will have to put down CWF's most decorated superstar AND another opponent to get there. These two have all the capabilities of putting on an instant classic as both vie for the trophy!
2011 Weaver Cup Finals for the trophy!
Semi-Final Winner # 1 vs. Semi-Final Winner # 2
Could we see another Aftermath vs. Aftermath final?! Or what about two of CWF's rising stars facing off?
Anything is possible as the two semi-final winners come back in the main event to face off for the trophy!
For the Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Championship
"The Assassin" RAY KANDRACK and TY DILLINGER w/ Coach Gemini
vs. ADAM PAGE and JASON BLADE, the VA BOMBERS (c)
The former champs finally get their rematch against the popular champions who captured the belts from them back in January. Kandrack has been unstoppable since becoming Television Champion and looks to become a double champion AGAIN. Dillinger has been fired up and focused in recent weeks while the Bombers seem to be splitting their attention in other directions. Can the champs pull it together or do the All-Stars have their number?!
For a future Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Title Shot
ROY WILKINS and WALTER EATON w/ Coach Gemini
VS. NICK RICHARDS and DONNIE DOLLAR$ w/ Stuttsy
Two long standing tag-teams square off for a future shot at the belts against whoever walks out of the Finals Night as champions... wait a minute... wouldn't that mean if both of Coach Gemini's teams win that they would face EACH OTHER on a future card?!
Scramble for a Television Title Shot
2 men start, every 90 seconds another wrestler joins.
Eliminations by pin, submission or over the top rope.
Last man standing will face Television Champion Ray Kandrack on 9/3
Participants:
Former Heavyweight Champion KAMAKAZI KID
"Surly" CECIL SCOTT
Former RGL Champion CHASE DAKOTA
"The New and Improved" BEN TYLER
Former RGL Champion TREVOR LEE

Plus Coach Gemini leads "The Fury" MICHAEL McALLISTER back from injured reserve as he tangles with "The American Pitbull" US Marine DEVIN DALTON and MECHA MERCENARY'S $1,000 body slam challenge continues!
And don't forget JAMES J. DILLON will be our special guest all night long at the Sportatorium taking photos, meeting the fans and signing copies of his critically acclaimed autobiography "Wrestlers Are Like Seagulls..."
