CWF Mid-Atlantic rolls back into the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium THIS SATURDAY NIGHT for "Lightning Strikes Twice" live from the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium located at 1813 Frank Holt Drive in Burlington, just off Anthony Rd behind Burlington Regional Airport and easily accessible from I-40 exits 143 or 145.
Matches already announced for this Saturday night at "Lightning Strikes Twice"
For the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship
XSIRIS w/ William Cross (c) VS. CHIVA KID
Chiva is undefeated since returning from injury including beating "Arrogant" Aric Andrews in just 44 seconds on September 17th. With that hot streak in mind, the new matchmaking committee has granted him a shot at Xsiris and the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship for Saturday October 1st! Ironically - or perhaps appropriately - this title shot comes exactly one year after Chiva's emotional and grueling upset win against Xsiris where Chiva captured the Ultra J Championship. Xsiris has looked great in every match as heavyweight champion but if the stars align just right for Chiva Kid can lightning strike twice and see Chiva Kid beat Xsiris once again?!
Six Man Tag-Team Bout - Coach Gemini barred from the building!
Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Champions ROY WILKINS and WALTER EATON
and Mid-Atlantic Television Champion RAY KANDRACK
VS. MIKAEL YAMAHA, DEVIN DALTON and BOBBY WOHLFERT
The match making committee has also signed this big six man tag-team bout for October 1st that will see the unique team of Mikael Yamaha and Semper Ferocious take on their common enemies the All Stars but with Coach Gemini absolutely banned from the building! It will be an even 3 on 3 when champions meet possible future challengers on October 1st. Yamaha has been a thorn in the All Stars side for months and Semper Ferocious have made no bones about wanting a tag-team title shot against Wilkins & Eaton, with the Coach benched for the night, odds are favorable for a bad night for the All Stars. But we can never count out three of CWF's toughest competitors and decorated champions. It's sure to be a six man struggle this Saturday night!
Former CWF Commissioner MITCH CONNOR will be in attendance to sign the contract for his grudge match against Ray Kandrack that is set for October 15th. Every time these two are in the same place at the same time it's chaos and the new matchmaking committee will have its hands full trying to restore order if Connor and Kandrack get into another physical fight!
The Young Gun challenges the Mid-Atlantic measuring stick
NICK RICHARDS w/ Stuttsy VS. RIC CONVERSE w/ William Cross
The youngest member of Fatback has asked for the chance to test his skills against the six time former Mid-Atlantic Champion! Does Richards have what it takes to measure up against CWF Mid-Atlantic's most famous son? We'll all find out together this Saturday night.
For the Rising Generation League Championship
JASON MILLER (c) VS. _______________
William L. Cross has arranged a title opportunity against RGL Champion JASON MILLER for either TREVOR LEE or BEN TYLER - but THEY have to decide who gets the shot! Both have their sights set on earning a spot in the upcoming Aftermath Apprentice program and Cross has made it clear that if either of them takes the championship from Miller, it will increase their chances tremendously.
Six Man Tag-Team Match
CHASE DAKOTA, CECIL SCOTT and MECHA MERCENARY
VS. JOE BLACK, ROBYN GOLPHIN and TERRELL GIVENS
2011 Weaver Cup Tournament Champion ARIK ROYAL will be in action. He's been on a roll all summer long, if he can keep up the momentum the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship may not be fair behind... but what if his friend and partner Chiva Kid were to capture the title this Saturday?! Royal has a guaranteed title shot in his back pocket from winning the Weaver Cup and that would seemingly set the stage for a partner versus partner battle for the belt!
"Arrogant" ARIC ANDREWS has requested to address the crowd after his shocking 44 second loss to Chiva Kid at "Stiff Consequences" and promises he will redeem himself.
Plus more! Its the last stop before the historic 11th annual CWF Rumble on October 15th - you don't want to miss it!
