++The evening kicked off with Arik Royal, Nick Richards and Matthew de Nero scoring a win over Michael McAllister and the Aftermath's Fun Athletic Guys, Trevor Lee and Ben Tyler. The loss did not set well with Aftermath frontman William Cross who later in the night publicly issued an ultimatum to the Guys: win championships within 90 days or be kicked out of the Aftermath!
++Results courtesy of them sleepy guys from IndyInsiders.Com. Please pass this info along if you re-post results in another forum, por favor!
++Chiva Kid outlasted a contender's battle royal to earn a Television Title shot later in the night. During the battle royal, the mysterious Solomon Spades crossed paths with RGL Champion Joe Black. Later when Spades and his teammate Chase Dakota attempted to attack Chiva, it was Black and his partner Matt Smith who made the save. Also during the battle royal heavy hitters Jason Miller and Jesse Ortega got into a heated pullapart brawl at ringside after both were eliminated. Security had to drag both men from the scene with tempers flaring. CWF Commissioner Corey Edsel has informed IndyInsiders.Com that Ortega and Miller will lock horns 1 on 1 on Saturday July 14th in singles action.
++The All Star's angry "Assassin" Ray Kandrack locked horns one more time with former CWF Mid Atlantic champion Adam Page in a #1 Contenders bout and basically brought his usual nasty all-business attitude to the ring to face the popular former champ. Kandrack withstood Page's assaults and started dishing out pain inside and outside of the ring, leaving with his hand raised as the brand new #1 Contender for the CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Title.
++The masked Mecha Mercenary was out next for his No DQ battle against CWF Commissioner "Dangerous E" Corey Edsel. Special enforcer referee, former Mid Atlantic Tag Champion Tank Lawson, did his best to keep the two monsters in the ring, but resigned himself to realizing that the two behemoths would do as they pleased regardless. Edsel withstood the punishment dished out by Mecha and cleared the air with an assault of his own that allowed him to defeat the monster by pinfall.
++Chiva Kid, winner of the earlier battle royal, was out next to take his shot at Donnie Dollar$ and the CWF Mid Atlantic Television Title. The two battled all over the ring before Dollar$ dropped the goat-masked Mexican star head-first into the ring apron before rolling him up and exiting the ring with his belt in his hand after a pinfall win.
++The CWF Mid Atlantic Tag Team Champions Killbillies defeated All Stars with help from Ty Dillinger and Steve Greene, who earlier in the night were called "minor league" by Coach Gemini. Leading cheers from the bleachers, Greene & Dillinger witnessed the referee sandwiched between two competitors and drop to the canvas in pain, taking that as a cue to hit the ring and help out Coach Gemini's opponents as a measure of payback for past injustices.
++The CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Title was up for grabs in the main event, a Best of Three Falls event between former six-time champion "the 1st" Ric Converse and current champion Kamakazi Kid. Converse quickly went up one fall to none after a low blow sent Kazi to his knees and to the canvas. Kazi evened the odds about five minutes later with a pinfall over Converse. During the third fall of the main event, the "insurance policy" that William Cross and Converse had prophecized revealed himself to be none other than the returning Marcellus "Mid Atlantic" King. Shockingly it was Converse not Kazi who King snatched up in his vicious Murder-Go-Round leaving Converse prone for the deciding pinfall.
++After Kamakazi successfully retained his championship, new number one contender "Assassin" Ray Kandrack attacked the champion, locking on a brutal choke hold that it took four men to break. As Kandrack was arguing with ringside security, the resilient champion dove over the top rope onto his attacker in a breath taking spectacle. Kazi defends against Kandrack in the main event on Saturday July 14th live from the NEW Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium.
++CWF Mid Atlantic returns to live action on Saturday July 14th at the brand new Mid Atlantic Sportatorium at 1001 Springwood Ave. in Gibsonville NC! Reserve your seats NOW or anytime at www.cwf247.com!
