CWF Mid-Atlantic returns to action LIVE from the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium in Gibsonville THIS Saturday night for "Explosive Elements 2013"
After our historic 350th CWF event, # 351 comes at you this Saturday night June 1st LIVE from Gibsonville's Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium at 1001 Springwood Ave in Gibsonville. As tempers reach a boiling point and we all look toward the summer supercard Absolute Justice on June 15th the formula for Saturday June 1st will throw together MANY "Explosive Elements."
For the Mid-Atlantic Television Title:
TREVOR LEE (C) VS. MATTY DE NERO
Since he debut on show # 79, Matty de Nero has never held a CWF championship. He says this will be the night he captures his first major championship. He has prophesied that we are about to embark on the "Summer of Matty"... but to do that he must get past a ferocious, determined and downright violent Trevor Lee, who has been on an absolute war path ever since his jaw was broken in February at National Pro Wrestling Day. These two combustible personalities are on a collision course set for Saturday June 1st!
For the Rising Generation League Championship:
BEN TYLER (C) VS. CHRIS "SHO SMOOVE" LEA
This will be Chris Lea's third and final shot at the coveted championship that signifies you are the best rising young star in the Carolinas. Tyler has cheated to survive two previous title defenses against the tenacious Lea. On June 1st they go one-on-one with the title up for grabs one more time!
CHET STERLING VS.
AN OPPONENT HAND-PICKED BY WILLIAM CROSS
The Aftermath's former "apprentice" is on a huge roll after defeating former Mid-Atlantic Champ Lee Valiant at the Alamance County Boys & Girls Club fundraiser AND getting the pin on Andrew Everett Cross in CWF's historic 350th main event. However he will have no idea who his opponent is until bell time as that's up to the former Aftermath frontman William Cross!
For the Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Championship:
ROY WILKINS & WALTER EATON (C) VS. KAMAKAZI KID & LEE VALIANT
Kazi & Lee weren't exactly a cohesive unit in their first match together as a team at CWF 350, with miscommunications and less-than-perfect timing. Coach Gemini is always looking to pad his team's championship resume and arrogantly offered them a shot at the gold knowing the bad blood that exists between them. But there is no denying the talent in both. If they can keep it together, even for just a few minutes, they could shock the All Stars (and all of the Mid-Atlantic) and leave with the belts.
Six Man Tag-Team Match
AARON BIGGS, Ring of Honor's CEDRIC ALEXANDER
and Mid-Atlantic Champion ARIK ROYAL
VS. THE BLACK WATCH
Solomon Spades' bizarre group that includes Chase Dakota, Joe Black and Jester Jokes will have the chance to establish CWF dominance on Saturday night... if they can survive the onslaught their three powerful opponents will bring! Biggs is the most powerful rookie to come through the Mid-Atlantic dojo in years, Alexander is one of wrestling's hardest hitters and Royal has been THE MAN in CWF Mid-Atlantic ever since capturing the Mid-Atlantic Championship in December.
Plus MUCH more including THE KILLBILLIES, DONNIE DOLLARS, MARK JAMES, the bizarre new duo of NICK RICHARDS & JASON MILLER, MECHA MERCENARY and more!

::: EVEN MORE INFO ON SATURDAY'S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES :::
CWF's resident statistician Grant Sawyer recently updated his records and passed along the following information about the three championship bouts scheduled for this Saturday night:
For the Mid-Atlantic Television Title:
TREVOR LEE (C) VS. MATTY DE NERO
-This is Trevor Lee's ninth defense of the Television title.
-Only four men in CWF history have had nine or more successful Television title defenses.
-In his previous eight defenses, he has won five by pinfall, one by countout, and two have time time limit draws.
-Trevor's second title defense came against Matthew de Nero as well, back on 10/20/12; which saw Trevor scoring the pinfall in 4:23
-June 1st will mark Trevor's 252nd day as Television champion, tying him with Jesse Ortega for the fifth longest Television title reign in CWF history.
-Trevor will need to hold the Television title until October 20, 2013 to break Mikael Yamaha's all-time longest reign with the title
-This will be de Nero's 102nd match with CWF. The only other man to wrestle 100 or more CWF matches prior to winning his first CWF title was Donnie Dollars, at 108.
-Matty has received 9 previous shots at a CWF title, in which he has gone 0-8-1 (0-2 for the Heavyweight title, 0-3-1 for the Tag Team titles, and 0-3 for the Television title)
For the Rising Generation League Championship:
BEN TYLER (C) VS. CHRIS "SHO SMOOVE" LEA
-This is Ben Tyler's sixth defense of the RGL title.
-Tyler is currently tied with Kamakazi Kid for the most successful RGL title defenses and can break the record with a win this Saturday.
-In his previous five defenses, he has won all by pinfall.
-Both Tyler's fourth and fifth title defenses came against Chris Lea as well, pinning him in 9:51 on 12/29/12 and in 8:36 on 3/16/13
-June 1st will mark Tyler's 308th day as RGL champion.
-Tyler will need to hold the RGL title until August 10, 2013 to break Ultra Dragon's all-time longest reign with the title.
-This will be just Chris Lea's 16th match with CWF. A title win would make him just the second man in the past ten years to have won his first title in 16 CWF matches or less (the other being Chiva Kid).
-Chris has received three previous shots at a CWF title, in which he has gone 0-3 (0-2 for the RGL title and 0-1 for the Tag Team title).
For the Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Titles:
WALTER EATON & ROY WILKINS (C) VS. KAMAKAZI KID & LEE VALIANT

-In their previous five defenses, they have won all five by pinfall.
-Their second defense came against Kamakazi Kid as well (teaming with Chiva Kid), with Eaton & Wilkins winning in 15:04 on 1/26/13.
-They are the only team in CWF history to hold the Tag Team Titles on three occasions.
-June 1st will mark Eaton & Wilkins's 154th day as Tag Team champions (and 294th day total in their three reigns).
-Eaton & Wilkins will need to hold the Tag Team titles until January 18, 2014 to break Rob McBride & Tank Lawson's all-time longest reign with the title.

-Lee Valiant is a former Heavyweight and Television champion, looking to become just the seventh man to win the CWF Triple Crown.
-Valiant has received 26 previous shots at CWF titles, in which he has gone 15-9-2 (5-3-2 for the Heavyweight title, 10-3 for the Television title, and 0-3 for the Tag Team Titles).
