A great article! My Z24 is a '68, but much of the detail applies to it (and the '67). But with all the info, there were a few factors that still remained with me after absorbing the write-up...I'm pretty sure my '68 has a steel crank as part of the Z24 package; also, the SS427 Package did NOT include Super Sport equipment in '68...it was a separate option (Z03). I think the "packages" need to be clarified...There was no "SS" pkg in 1968...it was "SS427" and "Super Sport"...ordered separately.
